Tara Tulley, LDEM, LCSW

Tara is a psychotherapist and Certified Professional Midwife. Tara brings to her practice the combination of understanding both the physiological process of birth and the psychological impact of trauma, chemical imbalances, and maternal stress from working as a professional in two different fields of study. Tara has a broad understanding of concerns related to pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting and is experienced in treating sexual abuse, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, domestic violence, and supporting women during transitional phases of life. Tara also has expertise in helping women to developing a healthy body image, coping with chronic illness, understanding grief and loss, creating healthy relationships, setting healthy boundaries, and developing a high level of emotional awareness to better manage everyday living. Tara received her midwifery degrees through Midwives’ College of Utah, and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah

Melissa Chappell is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, trainer and humanitarian. She has worked with hundreds of expectant parents and students over the course of nearly 20 years in the field of childbirth as an Internationally Certified Doula and Doula Trainer with DONA International, and in the capacity of childbirth educator and student midwife. Melissa sits on the board of two Haitian non-profit humanitarian organizations and regularly travels to third world countries to work with local midwives and pregnant and birthing women. She owns Raw Melissa LLC, a for-profit food company that has successfully been in business nearly a decade and is the author of Purposeful Eating, Finding Pleasure in Food and FAVES, Fruits and Veggies, Energy’s Secret. Melissa also coaches individuals on their path to healthier eating and has taught hundreds of people how to easily integrate good nutrition into their lives. She’s currently at work on her second cookbook and a new book on nutrition in pregnancy.

Desmond Lomax, LCMHC has spent 12 years working as a law enforcement officer for the Utah County Sheriff's Office. After touring at-risk youth around the jail and working with trouble families while in the Patrol Division he felt a disconnect. Desmond wanted to help make positive changes in the lives of others before law enforcement got involved and went back to school to complete his Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Desmond is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the State of Utah. He specializes in working with at-risk youth, people with sexual addictions and pornography use, youth sexual problems and deviancy, and trans-racial adoptions. He also does work with couples, families, and individuals in many different areas of counseling.
